Job Description

Position: English Teacher (KS3 & KS4)
 Location: Newham, London
 Contract: Fixed-Term (January - July)
 Salary: London MPS/UPS

As a Secondary English Teacher on supply for this Client, you will:

Plan and deliver creative, engaging English lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
Demonstrate strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements
Use a variety of teaching strategies to support learners with diverse abilities and additional needs
Build positive relationships with pupils and adapt confidently to different classroom environments 

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK-recognised qualification
Experience teaching English at KS3 & KS4
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
Strong planning, marking, and differentiation abilities
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
Overseas police checks if required
Professional references covering the last 10 years where possible
Legal right to work in the UK
