Location: Lancaster, Lancashire Pay Rate: £168.80 – £243.45 Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm Start date: February 2026 About the Role An exciting opportunity has become available for a dedicated English Teacher to join one of our respected secondary schools in the Lancaster area! The school is dedicated to enabling every pupil to achieve their full potential, guided by its positive relationships between staff and students create a welcoming and supportive learning environment. In the most successful lessons, teachers demonstrate enthusiasm for their subject, set ambitious goals, and deliver lessons at a pace that both challenges and inspires learners. This position offers the chance to motivate and stretch students across Key Stages 3 to 5, developing their literacy, critical thinking, and communication skills. You’ll also be encouraged to play an active role in the wider school community by supporting extracurricular activities such as productions, clubs, and trips, while contributing to engaging schemes of work and outstanding teaching resources.
