Pay Range: £165 – £250 per day Working Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm
About the Role
We are seeking a committed English Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in the New Forest from January 2026. This Ofsted-rated Good school is looking for a teacher to deliver English across Key Stages 3 and 4 within a supportive and collaborative department.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to make a real impact, working in a school that values both academic achievement and pupil wellbeing. The role will run until Easter, with the possibility of extension until July 2026.
What You’ll Be Doing
Teaching English to students across KS3 and KS4
Planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire and challenge learners
Assessing, marking, and tracking student progress in line with curriculum standards
Collaborating with a supportive English department to share resources and best practice
Contributing to the wider school community and extracurricular activities

What We’re Looking For
UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Recent experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4
Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for English language and literature
