Responsibilities

Deliver well-structured English lessons to KS3/KS4 pupils

Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Adapt teaching materials to meet the needs of individual learners

Manage classroom behaviour effectively

Mark work and provide constructive feedback where required

Uphold the school's values and contribute to a supportive team culture

Requirements

QTS or equivalent teaching qualification

Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school

Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
