English Teacher – Secondary School (Spilsby)
Location: Spilsby
Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time
GSL Education is seeking a passionate and committed English Teacher to join a secondary school in Spilsby with an immediate start. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated teacher who enjoys inspiring students and helping them develop strong literacy, reading, and analytical skills.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging English lessons and support students in achieving their academic potential in a supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4
Encourage students to develop confidence in reading, writing, and communication
Assess and monitor student progress effectively
Prepare pupils for assessments and examinations
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Follow safeguarding and behaviour policies at all times
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school
Strong classroom management and communication skills
The ability to motivate and support students of all abilities
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
