Role suitable for ECTS
Key Responsibilities:
* Be able to teach English at KS3, KS4 & KS5
* Positively contribute to the development of English pedagogy within the department
* Be actively supportive of the values and beliefs of the school
* Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that facilitate active learning experiences.
* Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school.
* Apply appropriate disciplinary measures where necessary
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field (PGCE or QTS preferred).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience in teaching up to GCSE essential, in both Language and Literature.
* Ability to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
* Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate and inspire students
