Are you a passionate and dedicated English Teacher looking for a new challenge from September?
Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with an 11-16 secondary school in the Wigan area to recruit a qualified English Teacher for a long-term position starting in September 2025, running until at least Christmas, with potential for extension.
The Role:
Position: English Teacher
Start Date: September 2025
End Date: December 2025 (initially)
Location: Wigan, Greater Manchester
Pay: Up to £223.62 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)
Key Stages: KS3 & KS4
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-TermYou will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative English lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with full teaching responsibilities including planning, marking, assessment and attending departmental meetings.

Candidate Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Recent experience teaching English in UK secondary schools
Strong classroom management skills
Passion for English Language and Literature
