English Teacher (Full-time and Part-time) Location: Swale Salary: £120 – £250 per day (Depending on Experience) Start Date: September 2025 Contract Type: Long-term, Full-time or Part-time (3 or 4 full days) Are you a passionate and qualified English Teacher seeking a rewarding opportunity in a supportive and forward-thinking school? GSL Education Kent are currently recruiting for two fantastic English Teacher positions at a vibrant secondary school in Swale — one full-time and one part-time (3 or 4 full days per week). As an English Teacher, you will be expected to take full teaching responsibilities including planning, marking, and attending parents' evenings. You will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that ignite a passion for literature and language. As an English Teacher, your role will include: Planning and delivering well-structured English lessons to meet a range of learner needs. Marking and assessing student work to monitor progress and provide feedback. Participating in parents’ evenings and departmental meetings. Creating an inclusive classroom environment where every student feels motivated and supported. Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the English curriculum and student experience. To be considered for the English Teacher roles, you must: Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Have a degree in English or a related subject. Possess experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4. Demonstrate strong behaviour management and classroom engagement skills. Be committed to raising achievement and providing exceptional support to students.
