Salary: £150 – £257 per day (dependent on experience and pay scale)
A well-regarded secondary school in Hayes is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic QTS English Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a full-time role in a supportive school environment known for academic excellence and staff development.

The school will only consider applicants who meet all of the following criteria:
Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have recent experience teaching English in a UK secondary school
Be available full-time from September 2025
Hold a valid, enhanced DBS on the Update Service
If you do not meet these essential criteria, your application will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 a bonus)
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policies
Maintain high standards of behaviour, engagement, and achievement within the classroom
Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school literacy initiatives
Support students in reaching their academic potential and developing a love of English
Pay for this role is between £150 and £257 per day, depending on experience and teacher pay scale level.
