Teacher of English Location: City of Westminster Start Date: September 2025 Salary: Inner London Main/Upper Pay Scale (£40,317 - £60,092)
The Opportunity We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of English to join a thriving humanities and English department in a well-regarded secondary school in the heart of Westminster. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual passionate about literature and language to inspire the next generation of critical thinkers and eloquent communicators.
The Role You will be responsible for teaching English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3, 4 (GCSE), and potentially Key Stage 5 (A-Level). Your role will involve planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress rigorously, and contributing to the development of dynamic schemes of work. You will also be encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities such as debate clubs, creative writing workshops, or literary societies, enriching the student experience.
