English Teacher - Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) - Northwest London
A Pupil Referral Unit in Northwest London is looking for a committed and compassionate English Teacher to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people who face challenges in mainstream education.
Role Details:
Job Title: English Teacher

Contract: Full-time, Permanent or Long-Term
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)
About the Role:
Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to students in KS3 and KS4
Support learners with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs
Implement effective behaviour management strategies
Work closely with support staff, parents, and external agencies
Contribute to a nurturing, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or relevant teaching qualification
Experience working in an alternative provision or with challenging behaviour is an advantage
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to teaching
A strong belief in the potential of every young person
