Job Description
James Ray Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher to join our dedicated and dynamic English department from September 2025 for the full academic year. This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on students' learning and love for the written and spoken word.
About the Role:
You will teach English across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering engaging and challenging lessons that foster strong literacy skills, creativity, and critical thinking. There may also be the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for a suitably experienced candidate.
What We’re Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*
Strong subject knowledge and a deep love for English literature and language
*
Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)

A reflective, innovative practitioner with excellent classroom management skills
