We are working with a forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school seeking a passionate English Teacher to join their vibrant English department ASAP. Whether you're an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), this school offers excellent support, CPD, and room for progression.
About the Role:

Teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4
*
Opportunity to teach A-Level English for qualified/experienced staff
*
Create engaging, inspiring lessons that build critical thinking and communication skills

Support students’ academic progress through effective planning, marking, and assessment
*
Contribute to whole-school literacy initiatives and enrichment programmes
*
Take part in department planning, CPD, and school events
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

QTS (or equivalent) and a degree in English or a related field

A genuine passion for English Language and Literature
*
Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills
*
Commitment to raising achievement and developing a love of learning

Experience teaching in UK schools (ECTs are welcome to apply)
