Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging and challenging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Inspire students to develop strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
Use data effectively to monitor progress and ensure high attainment
Contribute to curriculum planning, enrichment activities, and department events
Participate fully in school life, including CPD sessions, faculty meetings, and extracurricular activities
Person Specification
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working toward it
Strong subject knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for English literature and language
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Reflective practitioner committed to ongoing professional growth
Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
