Hours: 8.00 – 16.00
Smart Education are working with a Secondary School located in Smethwick LEA. This school are looking to appoint a Teacher of English to join them for the New Academic Year on a 1 term contract initially. The role will be to teach KS3 and KS4 pupils and will involve planning and prep.
This school are a mainstream academy at the heart of the local community, located in an area of disparate income and expectation the school offers a transformative experience for their pupils, and was graded as a ‘Good’ school in their most recent Ofsted. Hold QTS
Valid Child DBS (Or be willing to get one)
Patience, empathy and a commitment to serving the pupils you support to the best of your ability
Clear understanding and commitment to safeguarding
Ability to offer differentiated teaching as required
Strong communication and teamwork to work with the rest of the staff team.
