Job Vacancy: English Teacher (KS3 & KS4 – Language and Literature)
Location: Ickenham, Middlesex UB10
Contract: Fixed-term (Autumn Term only)
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Our fantastic Secondary school is seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join our high-achieving and supportive team for the Autumn Term. This is a temporary role teaching English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled English teacher who:
* Has experience teaching English Language and Literature up to KS4
* Is committed to delivering engaging and effective lessons
* Can inspire students to achieve their potential
* Works collaboratively within a team and contributes to the wider school community
* Has excellent classroom management and communication skills
Qualifications and Experience Required
* A recognised UK teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
* A degree in English or a related subject
* Experience teaching the UK national curriculum at KS3 and KS4
* A clear enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English education
