Days: Monday to Friday (Full-time)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent or Long-term
Teaching Role: English teaching across KS3 and KS4 (potential KS5 depending on experience)
Are you a passionate and creative English Teacher who inspires students through literature, language, and communication?
A vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Cardiff, in partnership with Empowering Learning Cardiff, is seeking a committed English Teacher to join their thriving English department from September 2025. This full-time role provides a rewarding opportunity to support pupils in developing confidence, literacy skills, and a lifelong appreciation of reading and writing.
You'll plan and deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 (with potential for KS5), contribute to curriculum development, and support students in achieving strong outcomes in both Language and Literature.
What We're Looking For:
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised FE teaching qualification
✅ Experience teaching English at secondary level (KS3-KS4, KS5 desirable)
✅ A passion for literature, language, and creative expression
✅ Ability to create inclusive, inspiring, and structured lessons
✅ A current DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
