Are you a passionate English Teacher eager to inspire and engage students through dynamic lessons?
GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join schools in Rotherham (S60) immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified teachers looking to make a positive impact and deliver high-quality English education across Key Stages.
As an English Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that develop students’ skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening, fostering a love for literature and effective communication.
Responsibilities as an English Teacher:
Deliver creative and curriculum-aligned English lessons across Key Stages.
Encourage students to develop critical thinking and analytical skills through literature and language study.
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policies.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment.
Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the English department’s success.
Requirements for English Teacher:
Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Specialism in English or related discipline.
Recent teaching experience in UK schools preferred.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
A full, up-to-date CV with explanations for any gaps in employment in the last 10 years.
