Are you a passionate and dedicated English Teacher looking to make a difference? We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our teaching team and help students develop confidence and skill in reading, writing, and communication.
Position: English Teacher
Working Hours: Full-time
Location: Chelmsford
About the Role:
As an English Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons that support students across a range of abilities. You will foster a love of literature, develop students’ writing skills, and build their confidence in expressing themselves clearly and creatively.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach English Language and Literature across the relevant key stages
Develop dynamic and differentiated lesson plans to meet student needs
Monitor and assess student progress, offering targeted support and feedback
Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
Contribute to the wider life of the English department and school community
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English
Excellent communication, planning, and classroom management skills
A commitment to high standards and student achievement
Experience working with students of varying needs and abilities
