We're working with several welcoming and well-resourced secondary schools in Wellingborough that are seeking a talented English Teacher to join their teams from September 2025. Whether you're looking for a permanent role or a long-term opportunity, we have a range of full-time positions to suit your ambitions.
Your Role Will Include:
Teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4 (some schools also offer KS5 for suitable candidates)
Creating lessons that ignite discussion, spark creativity, and improve written and verbal communication
Supporting students of all abilities with engaging, inclusive approaches
Helping shape the English curriculum and contribute to shared department planning
Leading or supporting extra-curricular opportunities such as reading groups, poetry slams, or school publications
We're Looking For Someone Who:
Holds QTS/QTLS or an equivalent teaching qualification in English
Brings strong subject knowledge and a passion for literature, language, and learning
Has the ability to build positive relationships and maintain high expectations in the classroom
Enjoys working as part of a team and sharing ideas and best practice
Is either an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to grow with strong support
