Job Title: English Teacher Location: Winslow, Buckinghamshire  Start Date: September 2025 Contract Type: Full-time – Temp to Perm Salary: £29,344 – £44,919 (depending on experience) About the Role: A forward-thinking secondary school in Winslow is looking for a passionate and innovative English Teacher to join their dynamic department from September 2025. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and inspiring English lessons across KS3 and KS4, encouraging students to develop a love of literature and language while achieving excellent academic outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons in line with the national curriculum Differentiate lessons to support students of all abilities, including SEN and EAL pupils Prepare pupils for GCSE English Language and Literature assessments Track and monitor student progress, providing feedback and targeted support Contribute to extracurricular activities such as reading clubs, creative writing workshops, and theatre trips Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and enhance the English curriculum Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching English at secondary level Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum Excellent classroom management and communication skills A passion for inspiring students and fostering a love for English Why Join Us?
