English Teacher - Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
Part-Time: 2-3 days per week
Secondary School based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, are seeking a passionate English Teacher on a part-time basis (2 or 3 days per week) - The role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a large, supportive, and successful English department.
The Department:
A team of 12 English teachers, including senior leaders.
An embedded curriculum designed to be broad, ambitious, and adaptable.
Bespoke KS3 assessments tailored to suit learner's academic, social, and emotional needs.
KS4 follows AQA, with set texts including: An Inspector Calls and Macbeth.
Continuous development of resources and texts to ensure relevance and engagement.
What you'll bring:
QTS (or equivalent) with experience teaching English.
A strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for literature and language.
Commitment to pupil progress and departmental development.
