Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Daily rate: Negotiable on experience
Contract: Long Term
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a qualified and committed English Teacher to join a reputable Alternative Provision setting in Blackpool. This role offers the chance to make a significant and positive impact on the education and wellbeing of young people who require specialised support outside of mainstream schooling.
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging English lessons tailored to the needs of learners facing social, emotional, and behavioural challenges. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support students' academic progress and personal development.
Candidate Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Demonstrable experience working within Alternative Provision, Pupil Referral Units, or similar settings is highly desirable
Strong classroom management and behaviour support skills
Ability to plan and deliver differentiated, creative lessons to meet diverse learning needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine commitment to supporting vulnerable learnersWe Offer:
