The school is looking for a dedicated and inspiring English Teacher to join on a long-term basis, with the potential for a permanent position for the right individual. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering creative and engaging English lessons across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, supporting GCSE preparation. This role is central to helping students develop strong communication, critical thinking, and the confidence to excel through reading, writing, and oracy skills.
We are seeking an English Teacher who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with specialism in English
Has experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4, including GCSE Literature or Language or both
Brings energy, creativity, and enthusiasm to inspire students
Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management, building a positive, respectful learning environment
Values teamwork and is keen to contribute to a supportive and ambitious department
