English Teacher, Bristol
We are actively recruiting an enthusiastic and skilled English Teacher with UK recognised QTS based in Bristol City Centre.
A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Bristol are looking for a full time English teacher to join their school in October 2025. This is a long term placement and as a newly appointed teacher you will be fully supported by the English department; As part of this role will teach up to A Level across English Language and literature and be responsible for participating in team planning.
Daily rate of pay will start at £145 and can increase to £223, for more experienced teachers with UK recognised Qualified Teaching Status.
UK qualified teacher status (QTS) is essential for this role.
Job responsibilities:
Planning/Teaching all lessons in line with the National Curriculum
Creating a positive environment and managing behaviour within the classroom
Providing leadership for the classroom assistant to provide the best support for all pupilsRequirements
Qualified Teacher Status recognised in the UK
