Academics, acting as an agency, are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher for a flexible, temporary ongoing position within secondary schools across Chesterfield.

Pay: £140 - £195 per day (dependent upon experience, training, qualifications & client rate available, inclusive of holiday pay)
About the Role
As an English Teacher, you will inspire and engage students in Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering creative and thought-provoking lessons that build confidence in reading, writing, and communication. Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and challenging English lessons across KS3 and KS4.

Prepare pupils for assessments and GCSE examinations.

Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a positive learning environment.
Contribute to departmental planning and enrichment activities where appropriate.
Safeguard and promote the welfare of all pupils.
Candidate Requirements
✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent).
✔ Degree in English or a related subject.
✔ Experience teaching English at Key Stages 3 and 4.
✔ Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
✔ A creative, engaging, and flexible approach to teaching.
✔ Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply).
