Job Description
Veritas Education is currently working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Wakefield to recruit a passionate and dedicated English Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking department, delivering engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
About the Role
Deliver high-quality English lessons that inspire and challenge pupils.
Plan and assess in line with the national curriculum and school policies.
Contribute to the wider school community and uphold high standards of behaviour and achievement.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and participate in departmental development.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching English at secondary level (KS3/KS4).
Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to safeguarding.
A genuine passion for literature, language, and student development.
