Salary: £38,766 – £60,092 per annum (Inner London MPS/UPS + TLR 1)

Location: North West London
A high-performing secondary school in North West London is seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational English Teacher & Literacy Lead to join its successful English faculty from September 2025. The Role
The English Teacher & Literacy Lead will:

Teach English across KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5 to a high standard
*
Lead the whole-school literacy strategy with a focus on reading, writing, and oracy
*
Work collaboratively with senior leaders and curriculum leads to embed literacy across all subject areas
*
Design and implement targeted interventions to support students with low literacy levels
*
Use data and evidence-based approaches to drive up literacy standards across the school
This is a senior middle leadership role, with whole-school responsibility and the opportunity to influence teaching practice and student outcomes at scale.
