What you'll be doing:
Planning and delivering English lessons at Functional Skills, Entry Level, and GCSE
Supporting students in developing their literacy, communication, and self-confidence
Adapting teaching to meet the individual needs of learners with SEMH and SEN
Assessing, tracking, and reporting on pupil progress
Creating a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
What we're looking for:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS) or relevant English teaching experience
Experience teaching English at KS3/KS4 (GCSE/Functional Skills)
A strong understanding of SEN, SEMH, and trauma-informed approaches
Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
A positive, flexible attitude and genuine passion for student development
