English Teacher - SEN School, Plymouth (Full-Time, Long-Term)

Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term
Salary: £140-£300 per day
Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a specialist SEN school in Plymouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a nurturing environment, supporting students with a range of special educational needs including autism, ADHD, and moderate learning difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons tailored to individual learning needs
Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
Work collaboratively with support staff and SENCO to implement EHCPs
Monitor and report on student progress
Foster a love of learning and help students build confidence in their literacy skills
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience working in SEN settings is highly desirable
Strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
