We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic English Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive English Department from September 2025. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher, we are looking for someone with the drive and creativity to inspire a love of English in all students.
✏️ Responsibilities:
Teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable)
Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured lessons that support progress for all learners
Mark and assess student work in line with department policy, providing meaningful feedback
Contribute to the development of curriculum resources and departmental initiatives
Support students' wider literacy and personal development through enrichment activities
✅ The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
QTS (or be working towards it)
A strong subject knowledge in English Literature and/or Language
High expectations of student achievement and behaviour
A passion for teaching and a commitment to professional growth
The ability to motivate, challenge, and support students of all abilities
