Job Description
We’re seeking a passionate English Tutor to join the education team at a young peoples secured environment. This is a chance to inspire, motivate, and help shape brighter futures.
What you’ll be doing:
* Teaching English qualifications from Entry Level up to Level 3.
* Designing lessons that engage and encourage progression.
* Supporting learners through tutorials, feedback, and assessments.
* Working with colleagues to keep teaching standards Good/Outstanding.
* Playing a key role in helping learners prepare for life beyond custody.
What we’re looking for:
* Teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS, PGCE, DTTLS etc.) with English specialism.
* Experience delivering and assessing English qualifications.
* Strong classroom management skills and ability to motivate challenging cohorts.
* A commitment to safeguarding, equality, and inclusive education.
