Job Description

Entry Level Accounts Assistant

Our excellent client, based in Stroud, are currently recruiting for an Entry Level Finance Assistant to join their small and growing finance team (plus the office dog!) on a full-time, permanent basis.

This business has a number of clients on their books that rely on them for finance assistance, therefore, you will need to be a friendly point of contact for queries and processing.

This is an entry level position, therefore no previous work experience is required, just a willingness to learn! Benefits include support with accounts qualifications, free parking, and flexibility on hours

Responsibilities

- Assist with finance/accounts email inbox.

- Using document scanning system for import/coding/authorisation/export to system.

- Preparing payment runs – weekly and monthly.

- Payment allocations.

- Loading payments onto various banks – as relevant to each client.

- Issuing payment remittances where relevant.

- Supplier statement recs and dealing with any queries.

- Posting and reconciling expenses claims.

- Raising sales invoices.

- General administration

Experience

- Computer literate, to include Excel and Outlook

- Friendly, team player

- Clear communicator

- Well organised

Salary – From minimum wage +

Hours – 35 hours per week: Monday – Friday, 9am - 5pm (1hr lunch) + benefits including;

- Free parking.

- Study support towards accounts qualifications (AAT)

- Flexible working hours.
