Role Details
Location: Belper & nearby schools
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 8:15 am – 3:30 pm
Pay: £13.69 per hour
Pattern: Day-to-day supply with options for part-time, full-time, or long-term placements
What You’ll Be Doing
Each day, you’ll provide tailored 1:1 support to children with needs such as autism, ADHD, speech and language delays, sensory processing challenges, or social and emotional difficulties.
Your role could include:
* Giving focused support to help children access learning
* Assisting with routines and transitions, reducing anxiety and building independence
* Encouraging friendships and positive interactions with staff and peers
* Adapting tasks so pupils can progress at their own pace
* Boosting resilience, confidence, and emotional wellbeing
For one child, progress might mean reading a full page.
For another, it might mean joining a group for the first time.
You’ll be there to celebrate every step forward.
