Job Description
Our client, a leader in the aerospace industry, is currently seeking a dedicated Environmental, Chemical & HSE Advisor to join their team. This permanent role is based on-site full-time at their site in Gloucester.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive environmental compliance and improvement initiatives across the site
Promote and uphold health, safety, and environmental regulations
Conduct regular health, safety, and environmental audits and inspections
Ensure the effective implementation of COSHH management
Facilitate and coordinate emergency response plans
Communicate effectively across the organisation to ensure HSE policies are understood and adhered to
Partake in monthly weekend water testing
Job Requirements:
Experience in a manufacturing environment with knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
Chemical expertise and COSHH management skills
Ability to work independently and flexibly with a high degree of confidentiality
Effective communication skills across all organisational levels
Flexibility to partake in 1 weekend monthly water test
Preferred: NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent)
Desired: Minimum of IEMA Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management (or equivalent)
