Senior Environmental Consultant

They are now looking to appoint an experienced Senior Environmental Consultant to join their friendly and ambitious environmental planning team.

Requirements for Applicants:

Degree in environmental science or a related discipline
MSc in a relevant environmental field
Minimum 3+ years' professional experience (public or private sector)
Thorough knowledge of UK environmental assessment, planning, and nature conservation legislation and guidance
Proven ability to produce high-quality written reports suitable for public consultation
Membership/Chartership with IEMA or a similar professional institute
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organisational abilities
Strong numerical skills and proficiency in common software applications 

Desired Experience:

Proficiency in GIS software, particularly ArcGIS
Experience working across multiple environmental disciplines
Experience in business development, including bid preparation and sales 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Undertaking site assessments
Contributing to the preparation of high-quality environmental assessment reports
Day-to-day client liaison
Working collaboratively with project team members
Attending client and stakeholder meetings
Providing technical guidance and support to junior team members
Supporting business development activities, including bid writing
