Environmental, Health and Safety Coordinator
Dudley
Monday - Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Friday: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
£32,000 - £37,000PA DOE

Main Purpose of the Role:
To manage and oversee all aspects of Health and Safety across the organisation, ensuring compliance with legislation and fostering a culture of safety.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert guidance on Health and Safety legislation and best practices to all staff and management.
Ensure ongoing compliance with current and emerging Health and Safety legislation.
Implement and maintain systems such as Risk Assessments, COSHH Assessments, and Safe Systems of Work.
Develop and deliver in-house training programs tailored to various job roles.
Maintain up-to-date Health and Safety training records for all employees.
Coordinate external training as required.
Oversee contractor compliance and competency for services provided.
Responsible for the continuous attainment of ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015.
Responsible for overseeing the company's carbon net zero programme.
Represent the organisation during audits, inspections, and external engagements.
Conduct internal audits, management reviews, and manage corrective action plans.
Provide leadership and coaching to ensure managerial and supervisory staff understand their Health and Safety responsibilities.
Support the implementation and management of environmental and Health and Safety systems across all sites.
Deliver EHS inductions for new employees.
Promote a positive Health and Safety culture throughout the organisation.
Ensure all incidents, accidents, and near misses are reported and investigated appropriately.
Participate in disciplinary procedures related to Health and Safety breaches.Requirements:
