Job Description
We’re looking for a Qualified Environmental Health Officer to carry out food hygiene and safety inspections across the borough.
Location:Loughborough
Pay: Per inspection
Flexible working – outside office hours available
Must have:
* Degree/Diploma in Environmental Health
* EHRB registration (or equivalent)
* Experience in food safety enforcement
* Strong IT & communication skills
* Ability to travel across the borough
Role:
* Complete food hygiene/safety inspections, audits & risk assessments
* Provide advice & enforcement actions to ensure compliance
* Submit inspection reports within 7 days
* Approx. 250 inspections (shared between team)
Flexible contract, pay per inspection – ideal for EHO looking for extra work or flexible opportunities.
