Year 3 Teacher - Full-Time Maternity Cover - Epsom
Days: Monday to Friday (Full-time)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, Maternity Cover (with potential to become permanent)
Planning: Full class teacher responsibilities, including weekly planning and CPD
Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Key Stage 2 teacher looking to inspire a class of eager learners in a warm and welcoming school environment?
A well-regarded primary school in Epsom is seeking a committed Year 3 Teacher to join their team from September 2025 to cover a maternity leave. This full-time role involves full teaching responsibilities, including planning and attending weekly CPD sessions on Tuesdays.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and forward-thinking school that values professional development and staff wellbeing. Teachers benefit from early finishes on Fridays (pupils leave at 13:30), with Friday afternoon PPA time that can be completed from home.
You will be responsible for delivering a stimulating and inclusive curriculum that promotes a love of learning and helps each child reach their full potential.
What We're Looking For:
✔️ UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
✔️ Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Year 3 experience a plus but not essential)
✔️ Confident planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
✔️ High standards of behaviour and classroom management
✔️ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✔️ A current DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
