ERP Implementation Specialist Contract - 6 months Stratford Upon Avon Circa £40 per hour Ltd EMBS is seeking a hands-on ERP System Implementation Specialist to optimise production planning, MRP, and APS systems in a dynamic and innovative manufacturing environment, joining a company known for its collaborative culture, commitment to operational excellence, and opportunities for professional growth. Our client is a market-leading precision engineering company that specialises in the manufacture of complex components through various methods, including machining and fabrication. Supplying to household names, within high-integrity sectors such as Defence, Aerospace, Power, and others, this new role creates an opportunity to work in a challenging yet rewarding environment. This is a 6-month contract to lead production planning and ERP optimisation in a fast-paced metal fabrication environment. You will play a critical role in improving operational efficiency, production accuracy, and on-time delivery. Key Benefits On Offer: * Hourly rate up to £40 per hour * On-site contracting role * Days - 39 hours, with an early finish on Fridays * Flexitime available * Immediate start * Hands-on role with direct impact on ERP and APS system * Exposure to complex manufacturing and planning processes Your Responsibilities Include: * Rectify and optimise the new ERP system * Investigate, identify, and fix system issues hands-on * Configure ERP to support accurate production planning and sequencing * Develop and maintain APS schedules aligned with demand, inventory, and capacity * Coordinate with purchasing, engineering, and production teams * Monitor inventory, lead times, and capacity to optimise production * Produce dashboards and reports tracking schedule adherence, on-time delivery, and efficiency To Be Successful, You Must Possess: * Strong ERP experience, particularly in system introduction and troubleshooting * Worked previously within a precision engineering or advanced manufacturing environment * Expertise in MRP and APS systems * Manufacturing planning experience, including EBQs, machine times, calendars, and personnel planning * Hands-on problem-solving skills and a proactive approach * Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills How to Apply: If you are a skilled ERP Specialist looking for a new opportunity, we encourage you to apply now.
