Location: Letchworth, SG6 Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 Working Hours: Monday – Friday (8:30am – 5:00pm) Job Code: MJ2119 ERP Support Administrator Are you a tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for IT and data? My client, a successful company based in Letchworth, is looking for an ERP Support Administrator to be a central part of their team. This isn't just an administrative role; it's a chance to be the IT backbone of the company and drive a major operational change. You'll be the main liaison between their team and an external IT partner, taking ownership of their systems and helping everyone work smarter. You'll get to learn their current system inside and out, then use that expertise to manage a smooth and successful transition to a brand-new platform. This is a unique opportunity to make a real, lasting impact on the company's future. Key Responsibilities: * Become the expert: You'll learn the current system inside and out by processing orders and managing data. * Lead the transition: Work closely with the new system provider and various internal departments to ensure the new system meets everyone's needs. * Manage data: You will be responsible for a smooth and accurate transfer of important data from the old system to the new one. * Provide support: You will be the first point of contact for the team's daily IT issues, handling things like hardware performance and new employee setup. * Train the team: Once the new system is in place, you will create documentation and train colleagues on how to use it effectively. * Oversee system administration: Your responsibilities will include creating and managing new user accounts, locations, customers, and suppliers within the system. You will also monitor data entry to ensure accuracy. * Handle hardware and phones: You'll manage the office hardware (computers, etc.) and be the main point of contact for the phone service provider to ensure all lines are always working. The successful candidate will have: * A degree in Computer Science or a related field. * Experience with Salesforce is an advantage, but not essential. * Strong IT Skills including all Microsoft Applications. * Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative. * A “can do” attitude with a positive, patient, and assertive nature.
