Pay Rate:
PAYE: £12.50 per hour
Umbrella/Ltd: £15.86 per hour
Job Description:
Southern Housing is looking for an experienced Estate Services Cleaner to join their team on a temporary basis. You will be working alongside a colleague, responsible for cleaning the communal areas of social housing properties.
This role involves travelling to multiple sites across the Isle of Wight, with transport provided for all work-related travel.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean communal areas such as stairwells, hallways, lobbies, and bin stores
Ensure high standards of hygiene and presentation across all assigned locations
Use appropriate cleaning materials and equipment
Work safely and in line with health & safety procedures
Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience in cleaning roles, ideally in housing or communal settings
Comfortable with manual labour and mobile work across multiple locations
Ability to work as part of a team
Good attention to detail and timekeeping
Must be eligible to work in the UK
Must have a Basic DBS
Must provide 2 years of work history/references
