Are you an experienced Estimating Manager or Senior Estimator looking for a role where you can genuinely make an impact?

The Role

As Estimating Manager, you will lead a team of six Estimators and oversee tenders for public sector construction projects ranging from £100,000 to £10 million.

Working closely with senior management, you will play a key role in securing future projects, improving estimating processes and developing team performance.

Key Responsibilities

  * Lead, mentor and develop a team of six Estimators

  * Manage and review tenders, estimates and cost plans

  * Ensure submissions are accurate, competitive and commercially robust

  * Prepare and oversee pricing for new-build and refurbishment projects

  * Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners

  * Identify opportunities to improve estimating processes and efficiencies

  * Support tender strategy and business growth initiatives

  * Provide commercial reporting and insight to senior leadership

About You

  * Proven experience as an Estimating Manager or Senior Estimator within construction

  * Strong knowledge of new-build and refurbishment projects

  * Previous public sector tendering experience

  * Excellent commercial awareness and cost planning expertise

  * Experience leading, mentoring or managing teams

  * Strong communication and organisational skills

  * Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines effectively
