Job Description
Brownlee Cale have a long term relationship with a well-established regional construction company, known for delivering high-quality projects across varrying sectors including commercial and industrial.
With a healthy turnover and a strong pipeline of repeat business, they’re now looking to appoint an Estimating Manager
The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing a small team of Estimators and overseeing the full tendering process — from initial enquiry to final submission. The work includes a mix of competitive tenders and negotiated opportunities with existing clients.
You’ll be hands-on with pricing, confident with both Causeway and Excel, and bring a strategic eye to risk, value engineering, and bid quality. You’ll work closely with Directors and the commercial team to maintain a steady workflow and secure profitable projects.
What They’re Looking For

Proven experience in estimating within the construction industry

Strong knowledge of tender processes for main contracting

Familiarity with Causeway and Excel software (desirable)

Experience leading or mentoring a team
*
A collaborative approach and clear communication with clients and supply chain
