About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Estimating Manager to lead our clients estimating function while supporting procurement activities across our projects. This is a pivotal role that blends commercial acumen with strategic sourcing, ensuring accurate cost forecasting and value-driven procurement decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates for tenders and live projects.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and commercial teams to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive estimates.
Develop and maintain a database of costs, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Support procurement activities including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.
Work closely with the procurement team to ensure alignment between estimating and purchasing strategies.
Monitor market trends and pricing to inform cost planning and procurement decisions.
Provide post-tender support including cost breakdowns and value engineering proposals.What we're looking for:
Strong understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
