As their Estimating/Production Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our production team and ensuring that our projects run smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting in preparing estimates for new projects by analysing plans and specifications.
Coordinating with vendors and suppliers to gather quotes and pricing information.
Maintaining organised records of estimates, proposals, and project documentation.
Collaborating with project managers to track project progress and deadlines.
Helping to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the production team.
Contributing to team meetings with fresh ideas and insights to enhance our operations.What We're Looking For:
We're seeking a candidate who is not only skilled but also brings a positive and enthusiastic attitude to our team! The ideal candidate will possess:
A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with estimating software is a plus!
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
A genuine passion for the construction or production industry.
