Remuneration: £30,000 - £40,000 + commission scheme
The role of the Estimator – Acoustic Systems will involve:
* Estimator position, dealing with a high end range of manufactured soundproofing systems such as: acoustic walls, acoustic ceilings, acoustic screens and bespoke systems
* Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to understand scope and requirements
* Prepare formal quotations and submit within required timeframes
* Work with the sales team to support bids and tenders, providing technical and pricing input
* Support negotiations with customers on pricing, specification changes, and value engineering options
* Update and manage estimating software, price lists, and standard product costing models
* Estimating for projects ranging in value from £50k up to circa £2m
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Acoustic Systems with:
* Must have experience as an Estimator within the construction / manufacturing market sector OR within Technical Sales dealing with acoustics, partitions, ceilings, wall covers, panels, construction fabrics, or anything involving reflected ceilings plans (RCPS)
* Ideally will have an understanding of ceilings, partitions, fit-out, panels and acoustics
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* IT literate (Microsoft Office, with a sound understanding of Excel)
* Technically minded individual with strong numerical skills
* Willing to learn and adapt to new environments
