Job Description
Are you an experienced Estimator looking to join a growing, design-led contractor delivering high-spec residential and commercial projects across London and the South East? This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of pricing and tendering on bespoke projects for a respected and well-established main contractor.
The Role:
Working closely with the pre-construction and project delivery teams, you’ll play a key role in pricing a variety of schemes from early-stage concepts through to full tender submission. Typical projects range from £500k to £5m, with a strong focus on quality, design detail, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender documentation
*
Analysing drawings, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate costings
*
Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations
*
Supporting value engineering and cost-planning activities
*
Working collaboratively with internal teams, clients, and consultants
About You:
You’ll be confident working independently and commercially astute, with a solid understanding of the residential and commercial construction sector.
Requirements:
*
5+ years’ experience as an Estimator in construction
*
Strong knowledge of high-end residential and/or commercial projects
*
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
*
Good working knowledge of estimating software and Microsoft Excel
*
Strong communication and negotiation skills
