Location: Brierley Hill, West Midlands
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
About the Company:
Long-established construction contractor with a strong reputation for quality, reliability, and delivering exceptional building projects across the Midlands and surrounding regions. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Estimator to join our commercial team at our Brierley Hill Head Office.
Role Overview:
As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of construction projects. You’ll work closely with the commercial and operational teams to ensure tenders are well-prepared, value-driven, and aligned with the company’s standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions
*
Analyse drawings, specifications, and contract documents
*
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations
*
Contribute to value engineering exercises and tender presentations
*
Support the project teams with cost control and commercial input during pre-construction
Requirements:
*
Proven experience in an estimating role within the construction industry (main contractor preferred)
*
Strong technical knowledge of construction methods and materials
*
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
*
Confident communicator with good negotiation skills
*
Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office
