Fit Out Estimator – West Midlands (Sandwell)

our client is a well-respected and long-established fit-out contractor, based in Sandwell, West Midlands, with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a traditionally trained Fit Out Estimator to join their team.
The Role
As an Estimator, you will play a key role in supporting the business by preparing accurate and competitive tenders for a variety of fit-out and shopfitting projects. You will work closely with our commercial and operations teams to ensure that all bids are commercially viable and aligned with client requirements.
The role will be primarily office-based in Sandwell, with occasional site visits on a national basis.
Responsibilities

Preparing accurate cost estimates for fit-out and shopfitting projects.
*
Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
*
Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
*
Supporting the handover process from tender to live project.
*
Ensuring compliance with company procedures and industry standards.
About You
*
Traditionally trained with proven experience as an Estimator in shopfitting or fit-out.
*
Strong understanding of materials, labour, and subcontractor packages.
*
Excellent numeracy, analytical, and IT skills.
*
Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
*
Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
*
A collaborative approach with strong communication skills.
